On November 16th, 2023, the International Club of Central Pennsylvania partnered with Pursuit Coworking to celebrate a truly Global Thanksgiving-friendsgiving luncheon. Members of the International Club brought delightful fusion of traditions, flavors, and cultures from around the world.
On the occasion of World Tourism Day, September 27th, we marked a momentous milestone in the heart of Central Pennsylvania with the launch of the International Club of Central Pennsylvania. Our kickoff event was not just a celebration but a vibrant tapestry of cultural connections, burgeoning global friendships, and the exhilaration of new beginnings shared amongst esteemed guests.
The genesis of this club comes from the collective vision and dedication of globally recognized and respected community leaders: Eliz Nestorov, MidPenn Legal Services, Miriam DeFehr, Girls Scouts in the Heart of PA, Sait Onal, Transamerica Agency, and Tina Weyant, World Trade Center of Harrisburg.
The event was a confluence of diverse international and local professionals from around the Harrisburg area - all gathered with the shared goal of fostering global understanding and networking within our vibrant community. It was a genuine reflection of our region’s rich tapestry of cultures and the potential for profound professional synergy.
