Turkish-American

Sait was born in Antakya (Antioch) Turkey. He graduated with a BS degree in Management and Business Administration in Turkey. Following this, he moved to the USA in 1994 for higher education. He received his MBA degree from Philadelphia University in 1997 and subsequently started his Ph.D. studies in Production Management and Marketing. He left his Ph.D. studies to work for the Transamerica Insurance Co. He has worked for this company for the last 26 years. He is currently the Managing Director for Transamerica Premier Life Insurance Company in the Camp Hill, PA area. 

Sait also has been serving as the President of the Red Rose Intercultural and Educational Foundation (Turkish Cultural Center, PA) a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting harmony in diverse cultural settings in the United States for the last decade. Sait is a member of Penn Live Editorial Board in Harrisburg, PA. He also serves on several other boards of organizations including the Advocates of Silenced Turkey (AST) and World Affairs Council of Harrisburg in his local community. 

He has worked on building, increasing and fostering strong friendships and has promoted a better understanding that is based on mutual respect between the individuals of the United States of America and those of Turkish background. One of his goals has been to introduce, promote, and inform the people in the United States about Turkish history and culture by bringing people together in an open dialog.

In recent years, Sait started his own company to produce films and documentaries specifically on human rights and persecuted people around the world. He produced 3 documentaries that are already recognized and awarded in international platforms. Sait is an advocate of social equality and a defender of human rights. To fulfill this goal he started the company to produce films documenting Human rights abuses around the world in hopes to be a help finding solutions.

Sait currently serves at the Mayor’s Interfaith Council in Harrisburg and is very active in Community service.

Sait lives in Lancaster, PA and has two children.
